Federal Grants
The number of federal grants available are limited in comparison to state level options.
The main community grant fund available is the Stronger Communities Grant whereby applications can be submitted to your local Federal MP.
$150,000 is allocated to each electorate, and a maximum of 20 community organisations can receive a share of the funds per federal electorate.
Each community organisation can receive a minimum of $2500 and a maximum of $20,000.
Grant Connect is another useful federal website in forecasting and applying for grants the Federal government have available.
Majority of grants available fit under federal portfolios such as Aged Care, Indigenous communities, humanities, and medical research, among others.

This program provides an ongoing source of small grants that can respond quickly to the needs of groups, including urgent and unexpected events, matching funding from other sources and trying new ideas and activities.
