Armchair Society is an engaging, thought provoking and passionate discussion group of current affairs.
Run by B’nai B’rith volunteer Ron James, who, in his inimitable style, brings to the table a series of interesting topics for discussion. With an open forum, Ron encourages you to share your views and feelings about current issues and news items facing us. Held fortnightly throughout the year, these sessions are a great way to keep abreast of what’s going on in our world and the opportunity to participate in lively, healthy discussions.
The first session on TUESDAY 3 OCTOBER will feature the esteemed GREG SHERIDAN AO, Foreign Editor of the Australian.
TOPIC: ‘ISRAEL AND AUSTRALIA – DEMOCRACY IN DANGEROUS TIMES’
Greg Sheridan has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate complex political and social landscapes with exceptional insight and analytical prowess. His unique perspective and articulate commentary have established him as a prominent voice in the national discourse.
We are expecting a large crowd for this event so BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL. Don’t miss out – we do not want to turn anyone away!
