We are hosting a workshop for people who want to learn how to use the automated external defibrillators (AEDs) now installed at six locations across Glen Eira.

The session will include:
– the difference between cardiac arrest and heart attack
– responding to an unconscious person and a person experiencing cardiac arrest
– how to use an AED and perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
– practice using CPR and AEDs with dummies
– opportunity for questions and answers
The session is for training purposes and does not provide a CPR qualification.
The workshop will be facilitated by Community First Responders Australia.
