Mahjong an Introduction, Term 4, 2023

Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game, and during this
course we will be learning the Western Version of the
game. We will play hands from “The MahJong Player’s
Companion” by Patricia A Thompson and Betty
Maloney as well as by the rules from their book “The
Game of MahJong Illustrated”. Handouts of the basic
rules will be provided,, you will learn how to play the game, recognize the tiles, symbols, terms and rules, plus more will be explained.
