The Many Journeys of CHAGALL

Join us at the Jewish Museum for an evening of reflections on the travels of Marc Chagall.

Hear from Brett Kaye, National Director of The Joint Australia, and Jade Niklai, art historian and Curator of CHAGALL, as they share stories of Chagall’s many journeys. Then, the pair will come together for a conversation moderated by Noè Harsel Museum Director & CEO.

Brett will tell you the story of how The Joint was involved in helping Chagall in a narrow escape from the Nazis in war-torn Paris. Jade will reveal the themes of travel and movement reflected in Chagall’s artworks and creative practice.
