B’nai B’rith Ramblers are planning a weekend (3 days, 2 nights) to Tasmania to walk to the legendary Three Capes.
This weekend was originally planned for strong walkers who are happy to carry a full overnight pack, but we have opened it up to a limited group of strong walkers who love magnificent coastal scenery but don’t want to camp and carry heavy packs.

Option 1: One night Lodge accommodation at Port Arthur one night camping in a tent.

• Day 1: Walk to Cape Raoul approx 13km return (overnight Stewarts Bay Lodge)
• Day 2: Walk Fortescue Bay to Cape Pillar approx. 23km (overnight Bare Knoll campground)
• Day 3: Walk back to Fortescue Bay via Cape Hauy approx 15km

Option 2: Two nights Lodge accommodation.
• Day 1: Walk to Cape Raoul as above (overnight Stewarts Bay Lodge)
• Day 2: Day walks around Waterfall Bay (overnight Stewarts Bay Lodge)
• Day 3: Walk Fortescue Bay to Cape Hauy (10km return, 4.5 hours)

Most participants will fly to Hobart around 6.30AM on Feb 7th and fly home around 8.30PM on Feb 9th
We will rent cars at Hobart Airport and drive to Stewarts Bay
Accommodation can be booked in 2BR lodges on a shared basis but you are free to make own arrangements

If you are interested please contact Boris (pogosb@bigpond.com) ASAP to register, but no later than Sunday, December 15th. Once the cap on numbers is reached, we will not accept further registrations due to the complexity of coordinating such a weekend.
