WIZO Connect – MAHJONG – ON WEDNESDAYS

Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game, and during this term we will be learning the Western Version of the game. We will mainly play games from the book “The Mahjong Players Companion” by Patricia A. Thompson and Betty Maloney. Tiles, the games and teaching rules around setting up, plus more will be explained. You will be introduced to a number of games and be given a sheet with some popular games explained.
Our teacher : Miriam Hicks
Miriam has been playing Mahjong for over 5 years and has been teaching it since February 2019. Miriam teaches the Western Version but not the American game.
