The Jam Project is a yearlong program which first started in 2016, that pairs a Year 9 female (participant) with a trained Buddy aged between 21-28 years old. Fortnightly catch ups allow for personal discussions to take place which support the participants in navigating adolescence. The regular and consistent contact between the Buddies and the participants inspire the development of confidence, self-esteem, resilience, and leadership skills. Jam group sessions highlight relevant topics throughout the year also take place for all involved. They are fun and informative, enabling a group bond to be formed.
