Jewish Care is pleased to announce that our Psychology Hub is open and available to accept referrals from the Victorian Jewish Community. The program provides short-term psychological interventions (up to ten sessions) for members of the Victorian Jewish community, addressing a range of mental health concerns through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. A key feature of our program is its accessibility. Services are provided at no cost to the client, removing financial barriers that often prevent individuals from seeking necessary psychological care. Importantly, clients do not need to utilise Medicare, NDIS, or other funding sources in order to access our service, preserving these options for future treatment if required. This has been made possible by the generous donations of Jewish community members who see the need for such psychological support for the Jewish community. This model aims to increase psychological interventions for individuals who may have financial constraints that would otherwise prevent access to such psychological services.
