Koala Kids Foundation is a volunteer-driven not-for-profit organisation with a vision to touch every child and young person during cancer treatment with small things that bring them happy moments. As well as running our operation from our office and remotely, our volunteers interact with children in the Children’s Cancer Centres and we also provide fun activities for children and their siblings in their homes. Our mantra is We Believe Happy Helps!
We are looking for volunteers who are available on Tuesday mornings to volunteer at Monash Children’s Hospital and Monday and Friday mornings at The Royal Children’s Hospital. The team is presently made up of enthusiastic, energetic and committed tertiary students.
Must have a Working with Children check and preferably a driver’s licence. Looking for people who have initiative, are able to engage with children and have good communication skills with people whose English might be their second language.
