This list includes the names of those still in captivity and those who have been released and well as prayers for hostages still in captivity and for the full recovery of those who have been released.
Since that fateful Simchat Torah morning of Oct. 7, 2023, we have been fervently praying for the safety of our dear brothers and sisters who have been taken captive in Gaza. In Jewish tradition, we pray using a person’s Hebrew name and the Hebrew name of their mother for those who are alive and that of the father for those who are deceased. This list was compiled using several sources and our best efforts have been put into making it as accurate as possible. May G-d soon hear our prayers and bring an end to all suffering and cruelty. Amen!
