Our Kitchen Table

OUR KITCHEN TABLE is a charity that’s all about ‘Creating, Connecting and Community’

Our mission is to engage volunteers to make a difference to the lives of people in need through craft related activities. We reach out to people in the community living in crisis, namely women and children escaping domestic violence, people living on low incomes, and to families doing it tough. We aim to let all our recipients know that there are people who care about them by sending our beautiful parcels of gifts.

We can only achieve this with the help of our enthusiastic and creative volunteers!

We rely totally on monetary and goods in-kind donations to help make these gifts, and most importantly, volunteers to come along and share their talents, kindness and assistance.

Over the last 4 years, Our Kitchen Table has donated over 50,000 handmade, essential items and food parcels that have been distributed via various local charities.

We also offer holiday programs that teach craft skills to primary age students. Students learn to make items to take home and to donate to local charities.
