Who are we?

We’re Powershop. We sell energy to businesses and homes in Victoria, NSW, South East QLD and South Australia. We work super hard to provide better prices, a fairer deal for all our customers, and a better future for the planet.

This is why we’re a pretty unique energy retailer.

We’re backing a greener Australia

Our parent company Meridian Energy is Australasia’s largest 100% renewable generator, with wind farms and hydro assets across three states and power purchase agreements with other renewable generators in Australia.

We guess you could say in some ways we take after our parents. We are Australia’s only energy retailer to be certified 100% carbon neutral. We offset all of our emissions associated with our operations and with our customer’s electricity use. We’ve even been awarded Australia’s Green Energy Retailer of the year by Finder in 2020 and 2021.

And yes, we realise our brand is extremely pink, but luckily, we’re also extremely green.
