Scholars Series – An Informed Response to October 7

A series of 4 thought-provoking sessions with special guest speakers, who will be addressing a variety of topics important to the Jewish community and faith.

7.30-9pm on the following dates:

Tuesday 5 March: Navigating Being Jewish in an Upside-down World with Lynda Ben-Menashe, consultant for NSW Jewish Board of Deputies.

Wednesday 20 March: Combatting Hate Speech with Peter Wertheim, Co-CEO of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

Wednesday 27 March: From the Left to the Centre with Michael Gawenda, author of ‘My Life as a Jew,’ former Editor in Chief of The Age. Michael’s books can be purchased at TBI on the night, or in advance from one of the following sources: Avenue Bookstore, Amazon online, Scribe Publications.

Wednesday 3 April: Isolation of Jews of the Left with Nick Dyrenfurth, Executive Director of the John Curtin Research Centre.
