Today the nexus between Judaism and Christianity marks a high point in the history of Jewish-Christian relations.

The same cannot be said, however, about the relationship between Judaism and Islam – but this hasn’t always been the case.

Indeed it can be argued that during the Middle Ages, the Islamic-Jewish connection bred relatively less violence, persecution and confrontation than relations between Christians and Jews.
