Writing Place – A Writing Workshop with Nadine Davidoff

In this half-day workshop, facilitator Nadine Davidoff will guide the group through the role of setting and place when writing fiction and narrative non-fiction.

Throughout the day we’ll explore key questions like:
– How does the book’s setting create mood and atmosphere?
– What does the character’s response to place reveal about them?
– How does the book’s setting indicate its themes and central concerns?
– Exploring in depth examples, participants will be invited to consider the relationship between person and place through their own writing.
