After the initial shock when the war began, small Israeli business owners quickly realised they’d be facing an enormous challenge in the months that followed. Closure of public spaces, tourism grinding to a halt, citizens being called up to serve and lack of childcare being only a few reasons why things are so difficult and this situation will be ongoing.
This directory was started by two families, one an Israeli family currently living in Melbourne and the other, a Melbourne family, both with a love for Israel, who want to make a difference. We know there are so many supporters of Israel in Australia and abroad who also want to help. This directory will enable us to make an essential contribution by shopping Israeli products and supporting the families who depend on these businesses for their livelihood.
