Former high school teacher Ittay Flescher moved from Melbourne to Jerusalem in 2018. Since then, he has been working at Kids4Peace Jerusalem, an interfaith youth movement for Jewish, Christian and Muslim teenagers. He is also the co-host of the popular podcast, “From the Yarra River to the Mediterranean Sea,” and the Jerusalem Correspondent for The Jewish Independent. In this interview with Greg Lowe, he speaks about the challenges of peacebuilding and journalism since October 7, reflecting on a vision for the future that could be better for the well-being of all Palestinians and Israelis.
