SAVE A CHILD’S HEART
Save a Child’s Heart is an organisation that treats children suffering from congenital and rheumatic heart disease who have little access to care in their own countries. To date we have treated over 7,000 children from 70+ countries as well as training doctors from these countries so they can return to their home countries and treat their own children.
SACH is based out of the Sylvan Adams Childrens Hospital, a purpose-built hospital for SACH which also treats approximately 10% of the Israeli children population for paediatric medical issues.
RWANDA MISSION
Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) conducted its first ever catheterization medical teaching mission with its partners at the King Faisal Hospital Rwanda. A team of 21 medical personal from Israel, focused on sharing knowledge and skills with the Rwandan medical teams while working together to provide 22 lifesaving cardiac catheterization procedures to children in need. We also screened children for treatment in Israel at the Sylvan Adams Children’s Hospital at the Wolfson Medical Centre.
