Kade is currently studying Advanced Science-Global Challenges at Monash University. After graduating high school, Kade took a year off to volunteer in East-African countries; working closely with grass-root charities in rural, underprivileged communities to assist in generating financial independence for local high schools, as well as teaching English and running sessions on disability awareness to both students and teachers. Over the past year, Kade has been working with the charity ‘International Needs Australia – (INA)’ as a project coordinator. In this role, Kade is leading a team of 8 to provide year-long school programs that helps empower students to engage in topics of international poverty, female empowerment in developing nations, and social justice. Over the winter, Kade traveled to the Philippines to monitor and evaluate the programs of one of INA’s charity partners on the ground. While there, he also represented INA at an international conference where he discussed the intersection of youth purpose and social justice. Kade is passionate about helping marry the themes of social justice and student activism: believing that the power of leadership interwoven with the power of innovation can be a strong vehicle to generate positive social change.
