Description

The AZYC is the roof body for Australia and New Zealand’s seven Zionist Youth movements.

The seven movements within the AZYC provide weekly informal education sessions on Jewish identity, Zionism, current events, and more to participants from ages 8-18.

Israel Education is a key component of the AZYC. All movements provide Zionist content and enable chanichim (student participants) to explore their Zionist identities and learn about Israel.

The seven movements within the AZYC are Betar, Bnei Akiva, Habonim Dror, Hashomer Hatzair, Hineni, Netzer and Tzofim.

Movements run biannual camps and several events throughout the year that correlate with the Jewish Festivals.

The AZYC also coordinates the Shnat (Gap Year) programs for all the movements. The AZYC facilitates the registration processes for each movement and provides seminars in Israel for participants.
