Illness and loss are a sad part of our lives, and not one that we should deal with alone.

If a loved one is not well, please let us know as we can provide pastoral care and spiritual support during this time.

If a loved one has passed away, we can assist in funeral arrangements, presiding over the funeral, organising a minyan and prayers during the shiva, and providing emotional support to those experiencing the loss.

In the years to come after your loss, Melbourne Hebrew Congregation will continue to support you and invite you to receive an Aliyah in honour of your loved ones memory.
