Jewish Care Victoria - Parenting

Jewish Care provides a range of supports for parents in order to enhance confidence and capacity in their ability to be great parents.

Our social work team works with parents and families who may be experiencing complex parenting issues or have specific needs in relation to the care of their children. Jewish Care runs community parenting forums through our Healthy Communities team aimed at building parenting skills. These forums are run throughout the year and engage experts in a range of parenting-related topics. Recently Jewish Care has commenced the evidence-based parenting program – Tuning into Kids – this is a small group 6 week course that focuses on the emotional connection between parents/carers and their children.
