Hi
I am writing on behalf of my 37 year old daughter who has a mild intellectual disability.
She really needs some paid work (doesnt expect much) and her preference would be to keep an elderly person company for a few hours a week.
She can make them lunch, play board games, take them for a walk or just keep them happy with her infectious
sense of humour. Elderly people generally gravitate towards her.
She is happy to do this in their home or in an aged care facility.
She has partly completed some aged care training, but could not finish the course because the maths component
was beyond her capabilities.
Hopefully there is a match out there.
