Description
Jewish Care has a range of services including social work, housing, financial counselors, material aid and more to assist people with multiple and complex needs including those with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and suicide and their families. We act as a partner with specialist mental health providers as required and alongside our direct service provision we can provide over the phone support as well as access to psychological supports.
Additionally, Jewish Care is focused on building capacity of Community faith and lay leaders as well as our youth and other services to better understand, identify and respond to mental health issues. We offer mental health education through parenting forums, we run accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid training and also hold Tuning into Kids courses for parents.
